In the Spring Summer 2022 campaign 'NATURAL SENSATIONS', nature casts its spell over us. Barren, untouched landscapes and glistening light alternate with cool shadows and refreshing water. The untouched landscape awakens our longing for infinite space and freedom. It gives us rest and time to breathe deeply.
Full of contrasts and yet harmonious, the unique magic of a summer's day can also be found in the spring-summer collection: Lightly flowing, shimmering viscose and modal meet structured natural materials such as linen and organic cotton. Delicate pastel tones in beige and lilac form a strong contrast to the strong pink, bright yellow and intense turquoise of summer.
HIGHLIGHTS
Sustainability has always been lived at HANRO and is part of the brand's DNA - just like the natural raw material cotton, which has been an essential part of every collection for over 135 years. With the Spring Summer 2022 collection, HANRO is combining the two main focuses: sustainability & cotton and is bringing several series made of organic cotton and Supreme Green Cotton® onto the market.
Our model Marion (left) wears a shirt from the 'Natural Shirt' series made from organic cotton and Assi (right) wears a tank top from the 'Sleep & Lounge' series made from Supreme Green Cotton®. The pants in the 'Pure Comfort' series are made from sustainable Tencel TM fibres.

"We have been looking for a long time for high-quality organic cotton that meets the demands of HANRO customers. We only use long-staple, GM-free organic cotton with 40-50% less water consumption during cultivation. This also applies to organic qualities The products only become really sustainable when they are long-lasting. For this, a well-considered selection of materials is very important. "

MAKING OF
The new campaign was shot in Portugal. A fascinating country to which HANRO has a special connection, because since 1993 almost all collections have been sewn in our plant in Santa Maria da Feira and we are proud of the deep, loyal solidarity of the local seamstresses. MADE IN EUROPE therefore not only has a resource-saving meaning for us (short transport routes), but also includes an emotional, interpersonal component. Both underline our long-term commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
